PROJECTS / 01—03

Built to solve
real problems.

Selected work spanning distributed systems, high-concurrency services, and computer vision. Each project is described from the engineering work itself.

01 / DISTRIBUTED SYSTEMS

Real-Time Messaging

June – August 2026

01

A real-time messaging service designed around reliable delivery.

Built with Node.js, Socket.IO, Redis, and PostgreSQL. I implemented idempotent acknowledgments and a retry mechanism, then evaluated connection and delivery behavior under local load.

100% connection and acknowledgment success in the reported local test.

Concurrent Ticketing

August – December 2025

02

A ticketing system shaped for contention and throughput.

Designed services using Java and Spring Boot with Kafka, Redis, PostgreSQL, Docker, and AWS S3. The local ID generation service reached approximately 26,000 requests per second per node in testing.

The figure describes the ID service, not end-to-end ticket purchases.

Athletic Motion Capture

January – May 2026

03

Reconstructing athletic movement from synchronized camera views.

Developed a three-camera tracking pipeline with Python, OpenCV, MediaPipe, NumPy, and AprilTag. The pipeline captured data at 75 Hz and yielded 8,256 valid 3D positions, with a 5.85-pixel mean reprojection error.
